I think Kade and AE are the best duo of starters we have had in quite some time and I know the star power isn’t the same as 2023 but I like what Jay said last night in the post game that this team can win in all different ways. How would you stack up this team vs 2023? Any chance they could beat them in a 3 game series?

The 2023 team would take 2/3 from the current 2025 team, but it would be a great series and the Box would be rockin

I was thinking 2023 take 2 of 3 as well but Skenes vs Kade would be nuts

LSU is the only team in the country that hasn’t given up a run all weekend

2023 has the better hitting and 2025 better pitching depth. Skenes would cancel out either Anderson or Eyanson. If the 2023 hitters can get to the 2025 bullpen then I like their chances of scoring more than 2025 against the 2023 bullpen.

2025 wins a 3 game series. Simple strategy, pitch “off” game 1 conceding game 1 to Skenes, then have the pitching advantage with Kade and AE the next 2 games.

Easy peasy

2023 sweeps easy
We're intoxicated over a scoreless regional against Rhode Island, Dallas Baptist and Little Rock

Curiel and hernandez might be the only position players who would start on that 2023 team.

We really gonna act like DBU hasn’t been a top 25 team all year?

We also have the same number of shutouts in this regional as we have on the entire regular season: against PFW and OU. PFW didn’t even make the postseason, and the weather for the OU game was an offensive nightmare.

They’ve pitched great and played great, it’s okay to give the boys some credit.
