I would have definitely scored it a HR
Ball getting away was more a function of how it came off the wall than anything the fielder did wrong

i mean, he literally fumbled the ball... it's a triple 100% if he doesn't do that

Should have been scored a double with 2 bases on error.

Screw you Dan it was at least a triple lol

It should have been a double if the outfielder had played for the rebound off the wall as he should have. However, that’s not an error, so Frey should be credited with a triple. The last 90 feet was due to the outfielder fumbling the ball, so that’s an error. But a kind scorer, with a sense of drama, could have used the fact that there was not even a play at the plate to award a HR.

No it’s not triple with an error. You could argue it was a double with 2 base error

When you cant pick up a ball in the outfield that is coming to a stop that's an Error every day. Triple and Error is how it should be scored.

If he would have played it correctly it would have been a double

That’s literally every inside the park home run in the history of high level baseball.
You have to play something wrong to let a guy run all the way around the bases.

And he played it wrong by not picking up the ball. If he picks it up its a triple.
Triple and an error

This. Inside the park HR's usually only happen when the outfielder tries to make a diving catch, misses the ball completely, and it rolls to the wall. No other fielder is even close enough to back it up. Meanwhile, the guy rounding the bases has to be pretty damn fast. All of that has to happen without anyone touching the ball. If they do, it has to be fielded cleanly and he has to make a decent throw to the infield.
