Anyone know here VP racing fuel is sold around central to southern Louisiana? Looking for 5 gallons of high-octane racing fuel for ATV engine.

They have octane boosters and you can get VP racing fuel shipped to you.
You don’t do problem solving very well do you?

In CenLa, maybe Joel’s Auto Sales. Both Joel & Jacob race cars, so I’m sure they’d have some…

Yes it can be purchased and shipped for a total of $206. I was just hoping someone might know of a local shop that could sell me a little.

Is toluene still popular for homebrew octane boost? It used to be a cheaper alternative.

I wish octane booster would do it but need at least 110 octane and I don't think the booster will get there. It is only good for +8 so that only gets to 102.

What kind of ATV needs 110 octane gas? I'm genuinely curious

Type really doesn't matter, just the compression ratio. Mine is a banshee, with 185 pounds of compression in each cylinder which necessitates the need for high octane fuel.

Harrahan Speed Shop carries it.

Double the ratio then. My God man!? How do you function?

What is the actual compression ratio. What cc are the domes? How much timing advance?

I think +4 on the timing. Not sure what CC or ratio it is at. I bought a compression tester and was surprised that it was above 180 on both cylinders. I tried to run pump gas and octane booster in the past and it wasnt cutting it.
