I've read so many threads and participated in them on Brees and Payton, people claiming Brees is the best at etc. Or Payton is the best etc .
So my question is of those two who is the greatest at their job? They both can't be or we would have more than one Lombardi

Hmm, I wonder where you would rank them

I think they were both great at their jobs together. Winning championships is about more than two people.
CSP is poised to show once again how good of a coach he is in Denver but they doesn’t take away from how great Brees was as QB.

There was a thread yesterday that got axed discussing the raw deal and circumstances that the Brees family received.
Yet, week after week, threads on here are started to malign Brees and his legacy.

Do you realize how hard it is to win just one Super Bowl at a historically bottom dwelling franchise like the Saints?
That alone should put both of them as one of the greatest at their jobs.

They probably should have a second in 2011 if Roman Harper could tackle
And possibly another in 2018 if the NFL doesn't completely dick us over

Exactly.
Bo Nix is a smoke and mirrors QB. He's doing exactly what Payton wants whereas Russell Wilson was not.
I don't believe in Nix at all. Let the tape catch up to him.
I'll gladly take all the shite if I'm wrong, but I think he's a mid at best.
Brees overcame a career threating injury, and the Saints were in the NFCCG in year 1. They were able to gel and build something fast and realize that it could be done. It took a few years to get to where they wanted to, but you could really tell there was something there. Brees confidence went through the roof when he started to overcome the shoulder that was on the mend.
