It's used for a bad disease that has long been a killer of young, fit folks, so maybe worth rolling the dice? Hank Gathers, Reggie Lewis many other young athletes among the notables to go via Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

I’ve noticed these commercials spent about 5 seconds telling you what the drug does and the rest of the time listing off the side effects, which usually include a mixture of the drippling shits, suicide, homicidal tendencies, scabes, erectile disfunction, etc.

Better than a rare, but serious infection of your taint.

It’s to treat hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Doing yoga with a significant outflow obstruction would not be easy. It’s a pretty effective drug if your ejection fraction is normal and you’re somewhat healthy. It causes myocites to relax to allow for more adequate flow through the LV outflow. We were part of trials for it and have a good number of patients on it that are doing much better. It’s an alternative to alcohol ablation or myomectomy in some cases.
