These insurance people must believe that they are untouchable.
If I owned a insurance company I would have Luigi's picture plastered all over my building.
One day ,perhaps, a pissed off someone will drive over to a Insurance company headquarters and
do a rapid unload.

I know someone who used Albert Nicaud in Metairie to fight the insurance company after Hurricane Ida and he was happy with the results. Nicaud and Sunseri law firm.

Try filing a complaint with the department of insurance first. Its pretty quick and easy to do and when the DOI receives a complaint, then contact the insurance company who then has to respond. Sometimes receiving a DOI complaint can light a fire under the right person's arse to get things moving along and keeps a lawyer from taking 1/3 of your settlement.
Move onto the lawyer if the DOI complaint doesn't get the results you want.

Follow the process that has been created to handle these things.
Or you can follow that dumbasses idea and threaten to shoot up the largest insurance company in the US and see how that helps your claim move faster.

wind and hail damaged roof, field adjuster came out and did assessment….2 weeks later i emailed desk adjuster (point of contact once field assessment is completed) and she replied that she hasn’t got field assessment yet. i contacted field adjuster and she said report was filed less than 24 hours after assessment. i emailed desk adjuster these facts and haven’t heard back.

As someone said, file a complaint with the DOI and you will be done in 10 days.
Or you can give away 40%
New law i believe was just signed that you need to show proof of payment for deductibles so i would caution you about an attorney for something so simple. The game has changed
