Last night between 9:17 and 9:20 one of brightest meteors flew over house from ESE to NNW. Anyone see it? It went in exact path it missed all of my outdoor cameras.

I actually did. It was very bright and lasted a long time. I was talking to someone and they saw it behind me and said "wow a shooting star"!
I had time to turn around and still see it for a 2 seconds.

My son and I saw it! We were driving westbound on I-10 in the Gulfport area. We both saw it at the same time!

This site has a map showing the path and locations of people who reported it.

Fireball map.

Looks like it went just north of Baton Rouge.

Good spot for it to land. Well, maybe just a little further South.

I seent it while out for a walk. It was low enough that I thought maybe it was a satellite burning up.
