We all know the glaring elephant in the room. When that pitching is done and it’s time to win a high scoring game we will have a serious problem.
Even after lsu loss today we will be top 5 seed and we are second in Vegas odds to win it all. I just don’t see the bats coming alive when we need it

You can win with only Kade and Eyanson but you leave them nearly no room for error

Sort of like getting Devin White back for second half. Still have to score.

Let's be real, since the middle of the second Arkansas game, we have not hit the ball.

LSU's team pitching ERA is 3.72.

In 2023 (CWS Champions) the LSU team ERA was 4.47.

And while we're at it, the LSU team batting average today is .301. And it 2023 the team batting average was .308, only .007 better.

So what's the elephant in the room??

Are those SEC stats? Or season?

Eta- we won’t make it out of supers if we face a team with 2 good lefties

Two good lefties? At this rate, a pitcher with a pulse will be challenging.

Every weekend LSU's pitching actually looks better and more arms seem to emerge. LSU's pitching right now might have them in one of the best bullpen situations in the country if it continues.

All we need is decent hitting based on how pitching has been playing lately. Who has a better 1+2 punch than LSU in starters? Mayers and Shores throw 100mph coming out of the pen and lately have been far more commanding on the plate. Noot as looked good. Evans and Cowan we already know what we have there. LSU is in good position here they might even be able to climb out of a loser bracket if it happens.

No clutch hitters on this squad. No Tommie White, Dugad, Crews, Belosi. Do I need to go on
