President Donald Trump feted the top holders of his $Trump token on Thursday night.

Justin Sun, the top holder of the coin, said he was presented with a $100,000 Trump-branded watch.

A billionaire, Sun has run into legal troubles related to his other holdings.

The crypto billionaire Justin Sun said he received a $100,000 Trump-branded watch at President Donald Trump's meme coin dinner on Thursday, held at the Trump National Golf Club outside Washington, DC. The top 220 holders of the token were invited to the event.

In photos and videos of the event, Sun posed with other attendees and signed a printout of a leaderboard showing he was No. 1 among the top 220 Trump coin holders.

Wasn't this Sun guy in some kind of legal trouble recently with the SEC? Whatever came of that?

In 2023, Sun was sued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), who alleged that Sun and his companies have engaged in fraudulent activity to inflate the price of the TRON (TRX) and BTT tokens, as well as selling unregistered securities.

The SEC dropped the suit in February 2025. Media sources noted that Sun had purchased $75 million worth of tokens from the Donald Trump associated World Liberty Financial prior to the SEC dropping the case.

Perfect. 2 years later. Conviction? Or you assuming the charges were legit and not the dropping of the charges? Figures. You far left wackos hate the presumption of innocence.

Also…wiki…hahahahaha. You’re not quite the legal scholar are you?

Also..define specially what “Donald Trump affiliated” means. You gullible fool.

Well, if we are assuming things, I assume he bribed Trump and so the charges of fraud were dropped.

Of course, none of us know what actually happened.

What do you want us to do about it?

Just because your feelings have been hurting for 10 years will not make us care about these petty things, I promise

What happened to you man? Weren't you like a Reagan/Schwarzenegger type California conservative? Have you lost all critical thinking skills? Don't you see that you have your own type of TDS now and have become part of a cult? What will you do in 2028 when Trump is no longer around to run again?

He's also had pretty much all of his SEC investigations dropped by the Trump admin.

Brother, if this was Biden or Hillary you’d be protesting and asking questions as I would.

These are the same folks who, rightfully, lose their minds over Congressmen insider trading.

It would be nice just to have some consistency. Even just a scintilla.

Bonds isn’t one of the typical krew that can’t see it.

The return is what we all end up missing.

Let’s say you are right and this is pay for play, what’s the pay for the play?

That is almost always missing.

Is our media so far gone that they dont follow up?

This crypto shite they are up to is is so shady.

At least with the real estate deals they have been cutting lately you can kind of look past it given their bonafides in that industry.

The crypto dinner has gone from a grifting scam as determined by the quality of the food, to a quid pro quo bribeathon.

This benign, irrelevant event does it all.
