Let's get this thing rolling. This is a thread for LA music and musicians. Obviously, this is a ginormous category that can cover an insane amount of music. I'm gonna start it off with the state song performed by Gov. Jimmie Davis. This is one of the most covered songs in the history of the world:

I like tunes from NOLA. This is the song my late wife came down the aisle to on our wedding day, and it also was the song I had playing when she exited the planet. Obviously, it brings out all the feels when I hear it:
