I am so proud to be a LSU fan. Best fan base in the country.

Chris Budden, the SEC Network on field roving announcer, last night said, "The SEC was concerned that the single elimination format would suppress tournament attendance. Somebody forgot to tell Baton Rouge."

I’ve said it a couple times over the past few days. Im glad I didn’t have a choice in the matter and my dad raised me an LSU fan.

There are passionate fanbases and great programs, but it’s the people and Louisiana that make it special.

LINK
Link to vid of reporter covering State & Ole Miss shocked by crowd noise, almost all purple and gold, after Frey bomb. Pretty cool.

Well done to all those who made the trip. Keep adding to LSU baseball lore.

We’re lucky and I’m grateful.

People, especially our own fans, love to hate on the Box, but no one can say shite about our fans in baseball. Lead the nation in attendance with 2 or 3 bigger stadiums in our conference. Taking over Hoover yet again. We are undoubtedly the top fanbase in the SEC and all of college baseball and it’s not remotely close.

I was coming here to thank all of our nutjob traveling baseball fans from the bottom of my heart. They have to be up there with the most dedicated fans in all of sports and their ongoing, relentless desire to boil crawfish and make jambalaya (JUM not JAM, yanks!) on camera for espn crews is what keeps this ship afloat decade in and decade out.

Although I am not one of the traveling faithful, I cannot tell you how proud it makes me to sit with all my Northern buddies and have them witness the amazingness. Love you guys!

I've been going for 8 years, that's was the biggest crowd I've ever seen and 95% were Tigers.

I always wondered what would happen attendance-wise in Omaha if Arkansas played LSU in the champ series. NW Arkansas is much closer to dive for hawg fans as compared to the drive for LSU fans.
