True, unless the military intervenes, there are mass arrests, and fair tribunals. The corruption itself has checks and balances to protect itself.

As I understand it they have pretty much run all of their algorithms and identified a lot of the waste but of course those are issues in the budget for Congress and as we know they suck

Or hyperinflation. Either way, our economy will collapse and the US will devolve into a lawless banana republic style dictatorship, or get obliterated in a war. Given the actions of Congress and the Judiciary, including the USSC, it's now obvious that the country has lost the principles and governmental integrity to survive in its current form. Only question is how long it takes, and it's nearer than most think IMO.

The lady who ran HUD for Bush, who talked about underground cites on a Tucker Carlson interview said as much.
She said that the powers that be realized America was lost because of debt and corruption, I think she said 1997? Either way, she said when they came to that conclusion, they gave up on trying to save America by governance and instead, started stealing trillions to build these underground cites so they could escape the coming catastrophe.

I don't have info to speculate about details, but what's happened since the Fed started wholesale debt monetization is definitely tantamount to late stage looting, IMO. Greatest transfer of wealth in US history, from the middle class to the ultra-wealthy. I suspect they've miscalculated about their own surviveability. Kings of old had generations to build compliance among their guards and subjects and armies. Our self-styled future rulers have no idea how exposed they'll be in the brave new world.

What needs to happen is people just need to stop paying taxes. If everyone would either adjust their W-4 accordingly, or not pay taxes when due, message sent and problem solved, but we'll never get folks on the same page, so yay America!
