Anyone have any insight on these? Want to use for duck hunting. Was set on a can am, but the price difference is pretty extreme. Understand I am losing some power with Viking, along with some tech and creature comforts. But what am I missing?

No experience with a Viking but I LOVE my older Rhino. I use it nearly every day and except for a fuel pump ($60 on Zon) haven't had a single issue with it.

The Viking replaced the rhino. That being said, I have a 2011 rhino 700 that is awesome. If I needed a new one, I’d look for a newer used Viking.

Powpow has a 2017 Viking. Personally, I find it’s jumpy at low speeds, underpowered, hot as hell in the cab and LOUD AS shite. All that on top of the electrical issues he’s had with it over the years, turned me off to ever even looking at one ever.

An HD7 with a similar sized engine to the Viking is the same MSRP.
No hands on experience with the Viking but in terms of just going from 700 to 1000 class machine, the 1000 will be noticeably quieter doing the same things and will have more acceleration. Both can get just as stuck on stock tires, will carry plenty, and will probably go faster that you want to go for hunting use.

I’ll agree. The rhino and Viking are loud!!
