I really liked it. Great period piece with the setting and costumes. The girl playing the main stepsister was fantastic with such a hefty role. I had a couple of laugh out loud moments in the third act , and I think the filmmaker was going for another emotion.
I try to go in blind on most horror movies, especially these Shudder ones, so I hate to say that it took me a good 15-20 minutes before I realized what story they were telling.

It surprised me with how graphic it was (in terms of gore and nudity).
The movie has the air of a Grimm's Fairy Tale.
I thought the premise was good (switching the perspective from Cinderella to the stepsister). And it is something of a morality play with suffering being the outcome of greed and pride.

How hard is it to put the platform it’s playing on? “Great movie but I’m not telling you where I watched it at”. Annoying. Just put the streaming service and people might understand your post.

Generally liked it but I’m just tired of movies trying to make you sympathize with the traditional villains of movies and somewhat justify their actions towards the traditional protagonist. They make the Cinderella character pretty awful.
Movie wasn’t bad though. Solid body horror movie.

Watched this around Halloween. Really enjoyed it. The main actress is fantastic. The only character with any sense is her little sister.
