Red carpet for them. What can we do or show them?

The homelessness? Our buildings look like crap.

Without the ocean of oil under their feet, that place would be full of the homeless and crappy buildings.

What pearls? They had sand and camels. The West got the oil out of the ground then they took control of the companies.

That's nice. But they're not building an empire like what can be had with oil.

Not what I suggested.

However, Pearls were once incredibly valuable in relation to the standard / cost of living at the time.

Additionally, the population of the Arabian Peninsula was quite small. Lastly, the coastal and interior tribes were not necessarily one and the same.

Pockets of wealth based on pearls was a legit phenomenon back then.

I mean, the UAE / Oman / Yemen are not the same today from an economic standpoint.

A pooling up of wealth based on resources is not a new thing.

Maybe "potential" barrels. But, flow rate is all that matters. There are no easy flowing supergiant fields remaining.

And that was also my point. Pearls. I get it. A nice profit for those few who dealt in the business.

But it’s not oil or gas in the industrial age.

So because you can't get it out FAST, it doesn't matter? Interesting. The real problem is that it American we have these things called democrats/liberals. Without them, we'd be much better off.

Hey if thy want to pay , I say lets play.
2 trillion dollars into our economy or any bump is a plus for us.
Better than other countries taking our jobs and selling to them.

We can't use much of the oil we produce. Today, the US produces mostly light sweet crude, and most of our refineries were built to process heavy crude oil.
