But dammit I full on believe this team will be in Omaha! I feel like if we make it there, and the bats are hot enough, we will have at least a couple of pitchers step up just like they did in ‘23. There’s not a team in the country that doesn’t fear playing the tigers.

LSU has as good a chance as any other team. There is not one clear cut dominant team this year. It’s all about getting hot at the right time.

Just need to get a couple guys going. Milam is the best contact hitter on team, just not finding holes.
Jones is struggling. Pushing. Needs to work deeper counts and get in favorable hit counts down the stretch.
Dickinson finally starting to see the ball like he did early on.
Noot should play bigger role in weekend rotation. Evans looks way better as closer, Shores is just not hitting spots. 97 over the middle gets lit up at this level.

why wouldn't we expect them to make it?

Not sure I agree with that. I think it may be Stanfield or Curiel. But those three guys, if they get going, will be a nightmare for teams in the postseason.

Milam is the best fielder on the team. No…. He’s not the best contact hitter. Not by a long shot.
