LSU #2
BATON ROUGE, LA
1 LSU (2)
2 Miami
3 SE Louisiana*
4 Bryant*
RALEIGH, N.C.
1 NC State (15)
2 Florida
3 Connecticut*
4 High Point*
Florida as the 2 seed in Raleigh and Tennessee as the 2 in Morgantown paired with UTa would be interesting.

We're good enough to beat anyone.
But I'd prefer not to have to face Florida in the Supers.

Florida is hot right now...

They started so poorly that it's clouding a lot of people's perception of them, but they've won 5 SEC series in a row. And that's more SEC series wins than Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky.
ETA: Florida is a game under .500 in conference and tied in series wins with Arkansas, who is 2nd in the league and has 5 more wins.

I like the idea of Southeastern as a 3 seed in LSU's regional. Its ace Stuprich could cause some real problems in an opening game for a 2 seed. The #2 starter for Southeastern is solid, but nowhere near Stuprich.

I’ll take whoever has the least amount of lefty pitching please

Agreed. Here are potential SEC vs SEC super match ups based on this projection:
Texas vs Tennessee
LSU vs Florida
Arkansas vs Alabama
Mississippi State vs Oklahoma
Vanderbilt vs Kentucky

Not sure if that’s more unfair to UF or NC State.
Florida’s RPI is #13 & ELO #7.
NC State’s RPI is #25 & #20 ELO.
Florida’s RPI is #13 & ELO #7.
NC State’s RPI is #25 & #20 ELO.

that boils down to Florida being 10th in their conference and NCSU is 1st in the toughest conference outside the SEC
Florida has a losing SEC record but could still wind up hosting a regional by selection Monday

Any team we meet in the supers will be “hot”

Florida State is first in the ACC. NC State is second, or tied for second, depending on how you look at it. They had two games banged for weather so it throws off the standings. And Florida State had a whole series banged due to campus tragedy.
The ACC is a bowl of frick, standings wise. But there is a lot of bad in that conference. Cal and Stanford are not adjusting well to the travel. Cal has a lot of talent too, and some sophomore middle infielders that everyone will be after if they hit the portal.

True but lets also put some perspective with that too. They have the fewest Q1 wins of every other team you mentioned outside of OU and Kentucky.
The teams they did beat during that stretch were vs Mizzou, @Starkville, vs Arkansas, USC, and @UT. They got smoked by OM, Vandy, Tenn, and UGA. All good teams
Arkansas has been bad on the road. Texas was impressive. But they did just lose their ace, and have been lucky as hell for the first 2/3 of the season.
Regardless, I dont want to see them in a SR either.

I'm expecting Tennessee to take 2/3 from Arkansas, then win enough in the SECT to work themselves into hosting.

If we have to be paired with an SEC team give me (in order):
1- Miss St
2- Oklahoma
3- Kentucky
4- Bama
I would like to avoid anybody else if possible. But we kick any bodies arse regardless.

High Point would win that regional

I'm pulling for Mizzou to ride a hot streak and eliminate them from postseason contention.

Nah, but Wade Walton could make some money in the portal this summer.

I could see that if the series was in Knoxville, but idk with in being in Fayetteville.
