Olson continues to be allergic to hitting wRISP

We've hit three doubles so far and even our outs have been barreled, so that's a welcome change.

Olson solo bomb.
Our team avg EV today has to be at least in the mid 90's

Crazy how good Mike is in the clutch compared to his regular at bats.

He and Olson are the antithesis of each other when it comes to splits wRISP situation vs non RISP situations.
I do wonder from Harris' standpoint if it's as simple as not trying to do too much at the plate when it comes to driving guys in.
In the minors, specifically in Mississippi, his clear strength was his bat to ball skills, but the coaching staff there was under the directive to have him harness his raw power, so his swing/approach was changed up a little bit.

Definition of tie goes to the runner right there. It’s close though
edit: so much for that. Would like to know the view that overturned that, but coulda gone either way

Is it real or is it part of his schtick?
I agree with you but it’s kind of endearing.
That's why I laughed directly into anyone’s face that was ‘offended’ by being prompted to ask for the womens’ numbers last month in that segment.

Love what AJ’s done these last few times out but he’s been very lucky in the sense that he’s given up a ton of hard hit balls this season that turn into outs.
Here is the exit velos of all of his non strikeout outs today:
110
93
103
95
90
104
116
101
Some of this is the Braves defense. The other part is luck. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts getting shelled next time out

I just like that fact that he seems to have more confidence in the splitter off of his fastball.
He has been lucky today, but I'm very high on him. I think he could be a valuable 3/4 in the rotation once he puts it all together. Still very young.

Last 2 ABs w/ runners on have been the antithesis of this.
Like the rest of the team, he’s just wildly inconsistent

not wRISP though... there is a difference.

Gloves have been insane today.

The inconsistency is painful to watch though

Albies needs some alone time with his home aquariums and to figure things out.
He reached on an error just now by absolute luck but he’s absolutely lost at the plate.
Seitzer wasn’t the problem as evidenced by him crushing it in Seattle currently.
Liberty media, via AA, has created a “meh good enough” Replacements team. It ain’t pretty.

Ho hum, another game where our offense hangs our pitching out to dry.
Posted on 5/10/25 at 5:27 pm to Broski
We’re going to get swept in a series in which Skenes doesn’t even pitch, aren’t we?

Putting Cruz on with no out is insane. I would rather challenged him with a 3-2 fastball and take my chances with the walk off homer than walking him.

UI Orlando is so much more digestible than starting SS Orlando.
