What a truly magical night at the Saenger. Beautiful show that is really hard to put into words. Oh and the opening act "Sally Baby's Silver Dollars" from New Orleans was simply jawdropping!!! Then Sierra and her band just crushed it. Had a great time in New Orleans, a city I was born and raised that I've dreaded going to over recent years.

Great show. Wife wasn't familiar with her but was impressed too. It would be interesting to see her in a place with some general admission seating - lots of people left their seats to dance in the aisles in the balcony for Fox Hunt and the rest of the show.
Her Instagram feed has a few videos of her parading through the quarter after the show on a bike float and busking with street musicians late into the night. That would've been neat to see in person. She was still in her flower outfit - most people probably thought she was just another Quarter character. Low res screen shots-

She does a different kind of thing, but her voice reminds me of Iris Dement most of the time

This one’s my favorite of her in the quarter. The musicianship she shows by locking onto Shine’s guitar and vocals and the sheer joy of making music with a friend is extraordinary to me when contrasted with the manufactured origins of most pop culture.
