Saints have been in the playoffs or in contention until the final game or two for two decades. Not many franchises can make that argument. Be objective and not vindictive.

Loomis did not win. Carr should never have been signed. MRI showed long term injury which was from before. He wasn't entitiled to new money

Other than last year when injuries derailed the season it is correct. Had Carr not been injured in Green Bay or Grupe made the FG Saints re in and Baker boy is home in January.

Context matters. This has been the worse division in football the last half decade and the Saints have played some of the easiest schedules in their history during this time and still couldn’t get in the playoffs….

I always forget the Saints are the only team that has injuries
Put another way the roster master GM Mickey assembled could not even make the playoffs with one of easiest schedules in the league in one of the weakest divisions ever.
