Was hoping Wout could go into pink but no dice. Curious how Red Bull handle the jersey. Do they ship it off this week or try to keep it till Rome. Will be interesting

They probably will look for a situation to ship it. They have a strong team but UAE have lots of options. Primoz is in really good form and I’d let UAE do the work here early if UAE want to win the giro. The 3rd week will decide it. As to WVA…he’s so hard to measure anymore and probably not what he once was in reality.

I think Wout can get back to his previous level. Last year was a bad year for him with the crashing. If he can make it into the offseason healthy he can prepare like he normally does coming into 2026
