Not a bad little combo. Waiting for my Uber right now for Exodus. I’m so happy Zetro is out and Rob Dukes is back in on vocals. I always liked him more.
LFG!!!

Dukes being back is great. I’ll see them at Louder Than Life later this year.

Billy Corgan had Al Jorgensen on his pod today. Good listen
Do they talk about Exodus and Testament? If not, create a threat about it.

Should've left it, because Ministry was my favorite band all through highschool. I want to watch this

Seeing Exodus next weekend. Not a big Dukes fan but I'm stoked for Metal Fest again this year. Testament was just here Tuesday and I had free tickets but wasn't able to go.

All good. Sorry to be kinda churlish.
Haven’t kept up too much with Ministry, but I did enjoy them in the early 90’s. They were amazing at Lollapalooza ‘92.

Looks pretty sweet. I’d love to go to Milwaukee Metal fest someday. Haven’t spent too much time up there, but I have passed through and spent the bulk of a day there.
I suppose Dukes is a matter of a personal opinion. I’m just not a fan of Zetro’s nasally tone. Oddly enough though, Tempo of the Damned is my favorite album from them and I thought he was pretty good on it. This last go round though he kind of grated on me.

Hey buddy. They sounded fantastic. Very sharp. Good song selection for the setlist too.

I was stoked to see ahead of time that they’re playing War is my Shepherd on this tour and it did not disappoint.
The crowd seemed pretty light. Rob yelled at us a couple of times between songs for being so quiet. There was one point where I yelled “Rob you the man!!” and he looked at me and said “Thank you buddy. I appreciate that. I really do.”
The pit was pretty good though. I got some good footage of it. I’ll try to get those uploaded to YouTube and link them here.
ETA: Not positive yet that I’m going to Testament tomorrow night. The damn Ubers were close to $100 for round-trip to and from my hotel. Might save that money and put it away for Metallica in Atlanta. Pretty sure that I’m doing that one with my son. Plus, I’m pretty excited to Eyanson pitch again tomorrow night.

Glad they put on a good show. War is my Shepard is one of my favorites. Went to Pearl Jam in Nashville last night. Not my everyday listening but they put on a damn good show.
Testament is in Nola in a couple weeks…still on the fence if I’m making that one or not.

Nice! I’m sure Pearl Jam was very good. I’ve seen them one time. Way back in ‘92 on their Ten tour at a club in Orlando. Pretty amazing show down front on the floor. I may have been a little more hammered than I needed to be though.
Oh shite, I just remembered. I saw them again a couple months later at Lollapalooza in Orlando. Same deal with Soundgarden. Saw them about seven months before Lollapalooza at a bar in Jacksonville and then at that same Lollapalooza in the summer of ‘92.
Mid-20’s were my peak concert days, as with most people I’m sure. If there was a good show coming, I didn’t miss it. Marriage and children certainly slowed that down a lot but now that the kids are grown and I’m out on the road, I’ve picked it back up a lot.
