Put a bow on the below and send it to the entire organization along with a gargantuan bag of dicks. Or, better yet, fire some members of the organization into the sun.

White Sox series was fricking abysmal

Its so frustrating how this team just seems to not give a shite about baseball

After today, I don't think we sniff .500 for quite a while. Espada, Cintron and Snitker can eat the biggest bag of dicks the DAT has to offer

Cintron needs to go, especially with what Tucker and Breggy are doing.

I don’t understand why some people who cover this team think it’s sacrilege to hold the hitting coaches accountable. This team needs better hitters, but this offense has been a problem for at least 3 years, even when it had better hitters.

And if this organization can fire a GM days after the club won the World Series, why can’t the hitting coaches get fired because the offense doesn’t produce? Usually in sports, if your unit doesn’t produce, you lose your job.

I 100% believe Crane is worried about the optics of firing higher-ranking Hispanic born employees following the scandal however many years ago. He may also be kowtowing to the Hispanic born leaders of the team by keeping those they feel more comfortable with.

I don't care for Chandler's tone a lot of the time but the data he provided does show there is a little more nuance than it's all the coaches fault. It's not going to happen every night, but there have been plenty of games where there is constant traffic and opportunities to get a big hit to win a game and this group just hasn't done it at the clip that really good teams get those hits.

Is the messaging from Snitker and Cintron bad? I don't think anyone outside of that clubhouse knows enough to say that's the case one way or the other. Is the message stale? Doesn't seem like it because like he pointed out their points of emphasis in the offseason are playing out. The team just doesn't slug and hit timely and the guys you paid big $'s to do that are the ones not providing the juice that you need.

If you’re talking about Chandler Rome, I’m more than 51% sure he’s on this board every once in a while. And if you’re reading this Chandler, frick you for constantly sucking Cintron’s dick when there are clear signs of regression, and multiple cases of players leave this organization and showing immediate improvement at the plate

ETA: adding his tweet vs what the statistics say in what he is referencing. It’s a fractional improvement

The problem with some of those stats he lists is context. Runs for example. Did we score 3 one night and 4 the next or did we score 7 one night and none the next? That Royals series we averaged 2.3 runs a game while getting shut out and literally having zero chance to win in two of them.

Are the walks happening with people on base in a tight game, or in the 7th inning with no one on and down by 5 runs?

I know there are situational stats that measure all that and I’m not even sure how they would shake out, but Rome is just listing gross stats.

Well that’s the beauty of the game is that if you execute what you want to execute over 162 there will be more good days than bad.

That Friday night in that series they had like 15 barrels and only 2 hits to show for it. That’s pretty good bat to ball with poor luck. Saturday they went 1-9 with RISP so plenty of opportunity and the run producers didn’t execute. I don’t think the talent is there for this team to be special but over the course of the season if you keep giving yourself those opportunities you are much better off for it.

The issue, to me at least, is that the ceiling for this offense is really low due to how many hits it takes them to score. They need 3 guys to go on nuclear home run tears to elevate it and that seems less than likely.

take away that 14 run game against the Angels and they're below 3 runs per game.

Yeah, congratulations on improving on every nuanced metric there is to be found on advanced stat sites but not improving on the one metric that matters: runs scored.

And the ones in your graphic are just as much evidence about how putrid the offense is versus whatever else someone wants to find on the advanced stat sites of the world.
