For some reason I thought Jared started more games during this streak but it proved useful. I should note that during this stretch Anthony Ranaudo emerged as a useful bullpen piece along with Louis Coleman so one other pitcher from the list below is going to need to step up.

I'm looking at one of you (Ware, Schmidt, Rizy, Shores, Benge, Williams)

(Final 29 games of season)

South Carolina - 4 innings of out of bullpen (W)
Kentucky - 2 innings of out of bullpen (W)
Kentucky - 4 innings of out of bullpen (S)
Kentucky - 1 innings of out of bullpen (S)
Miss St - 6 inning start on Sunday (W)
Auburn - 3 innings of out of bullpen (S)
South Carolina (SECT) - 1 innings of out of bullpen (W)
Vanderbilt (SECT) - 1 innings of out of bullpen (H)
Alabama (SECT) - 2 innings of out of bullpen (H)
Southern Miss (Regional) - 3 innings of out of bullpen (S)
UC Irvine (Super Regional) - 6 inning start game 2 (W)
Rice (Omaha) - 6 inning start game 2 (W)

Feels like it could be a defining moment in the season

Now it’s on Yeskie to get some of these young arms to contribute out of the pen. Jacob Meyers feels like the X factor. Ware has to replace Primeaux as the lefty to turn to.

Ive been waiting all year for him to be turned loose and be that guy but he obviously ain’t it.

I can’t believe I’m the negative Nancy in a burreaux exchange

Yeskie can’t even get a large portion of pen to throw strikes. It’s mind boggling to me. I have zero trust in him.

Hey I asked you a bunch of questions on Sunday and you didn't answer any of them. What was up with that? I thought Tony was going to push LSU's shite in and we had no arms and no bats and were doomed? What happened there?

Nothing you say about this team, program, or college baseball in general should be taken seriously. You're a moron and also a gigantic pussy to run away after spouting your bullshite all week, Friday for the first part of the game, Saturday once the game got out of reach, and Sunday for the first inning. Just pathetic stuff on your part.

Why not Herring or Louis Coleman

That’s all I’m asking

Bradford was the best pitcher on a bad team but was not anything special

He and Cowan have both been our Jared Bradford (more like Louis Coleman, who carried on that role, and was better at it) all year. So my answer is yes.

I'm not arguing about there being a comp to Coleman as well as Bradford...but this comp isn't about who was better.

Why not Herring

You lost me there. Herring was always a bullpen piece and never flexed as a planned starter.

I disagree, he pitched to contact and become a workhorse for that team both in the bullpen and/or starting week to week which is what this thread was about.

Coach Jay’s Official Memo to Coach Yeskie:
I DONT GIVE A FUUG ABOUT OUR WEAK PITCHERS HITTING SPOTS. JUST FOCUS ON THROWING THE FRIGGING BALL OVER THE PLATE. THATS WHY WE HAVE A DEFENSE.
GOT IT!!!

Think more of a Louis Coleman Anthony Ranaudo Hybrid.
