This.
I bought one that looked like hell but everything worked about 10 years ago. I built a new cabinet around it, painted it and let her rip. That thing worked like a champ until lightning got it about 3 years ago.
I'm threatening to buy another one. Sitting in a hot tub on a rainy day is the shite.

Does not exist.
Do your research and if you seriously want one, don't skimp.
We have a new one on order right now to replace our first one bought in 2008. It has been really good, only a couple of minor things I fixed myself, and it was just time for an upgrade for therapeutic reasons (we are approaching our 60's and it is a legit arthritis/muscle therapy thing.)
Sundance Spa is the brand we own and are sticking with.
They are an industry leader as far as quality and innovation and have been for a long time. Do what you want, but I would highly recommend doing a lot of shopping around to be sure you get what you want and what works for you, along with considering the aftersales support in case you need warranty work. Buying the "bargain" from the super spa blowout sale at the local convention center might not be the best long term option.
Consider it an investment and not a novelty is the best advice I can give.

This is going to soung trashy, but just get a $500 inflatible hot tub from sams or costco. It scratches that itch of using the hot tub once o week during the winter and gives lots of flexiblity and doesnt cost 10k.
I almost went thru the process of buying a 10k one, but said id do this first. I told my wife after the first year that this was the best $500 ive spent as an adult.
Mine has like 150 jets sits at 104 degrees at all times and i put it up in october and take it down in april. Takes minimal chemicals and can easily fit 4-people (could squeeze 5)

Look on marketplace and someone will probably pay you to come get the one they have that hasn't been used in years. Thats where the one you are going to but is going to wind up in about 5 years unless you are not normal.
They are very simple machines....anything that can go wrong with them, short of the tub itself busting, can be fixed by anyone who can change a light bulb themselves. That said parts can be extremely expensive but if you shop around they are pretty cheap. I have rebuilt my wife's hot tub at least twice and she has used it at least 4 times in 10 years....maybe 5. I have more trouble keeping the water chemistry balanced than keeping the damned thing functional.....

Bought one off Sams .com a couple years ago for 4000.00, no complaints very easy setup and has about 50 jet nozzles, seats 4 people comfortably.
