steaks, potatoes, a mountain of onion rings, and a half head of lettuce for a salad. Its a small little place on a side street?

I went w/ the family about a month ago and was not impressed w/ my steak at all. For the price, I'd rather go somewhere else. Copelands makes a better steak than them for the same price.

I heard charlies reopened and even managed to track down their old staff and get them back...but I bet that old stand up air conditioner is gone...I will miss that...and the, "menu what menu...we have meat"

Yep, it's Charlie's Steak House. I haven't been since Katrina...but before then...I just didn't think it was anything to write home about. And I agree that Copeland's even has a MUCH better steak.

I get the coke in the pony bottle, filet, wedge of lettuce with roquefort, with extra on the side, steak potatoes and onion rings.
Not sure if the food is the greatest, but alot of people I know went there as kids and they bring their kids there.
I hope I will be there tomorrow night, as they don't serve lunch on Saturdays.
