What athletes do you think could succeed on the PGA Tour?

My first thought would be Aaron Judge. If THE JUDGE can crank out drives like he effortlessly cranks dongs out the park, he would instantly have the best drive on the Tour. Aaron Rodgers would be my second pick. His calm and collected demeanor would be perfect for the pressure cooker that is the PGA Tour. Chef Curry has proven to have a sweet stroke and could probably hang with the big boys on the Tour as well.

What say tMSB? What other athletes do you think could succeed on the Tour? I’ll hang up and listen.

Michael Jordan back in the day may have been able to. Wasn't he a low single digit handicap too? Billy Joe Tolliver would always win the celebrity event it seems.

At present time if every pro athlete across all sports were to stop what they were doing and devote 100% of their time to trying to play on the pga tour exactly zero of them would accomplish that feat.

Somehow you turned this into your twelfth Judge thread. Impressive

I've tried watching some "athletes" try to throw a baseball. I'm confident not many, if any, could succeed on the Tour even if they spent all their time and energy on it.

Define athlete. If your definition means someone who played pro sports, then I guarantee you that the least athletic of those guys, would be the best golfers. Your QB’s, pitchers, kickers, etc. Not necessarily the most athletic guys.

This is the answer. PGA pros are so far beyond a "good" golfer, it's really not close.

It would be just as bad as what White Mamba did in the Scallenge

Danny Woodhead is the one who got closest to qualifying for the US Open

Succeeding is a different story..

I think its so cool how good Gary Woodland is. College Basketball player that picked up golf after..

None.

Curry, Romo, etc. are good for amateurs but if they actually competed in a PGA Tour event they would get smoked and not come close to making the cut.

He was on the golf team too. He didn’t “pick up” golf after. He was the best player in the Kansas in high school
