I've been working in Lafayette every day, so I usually switch from 1210 to 1420 at some point on the Basin bridge. Unfortunately, these clowns spend way too much talking about ULL softball. Maybe I'm just tuning in at the wrong times. Does it get any better?

that isnt a regular occurrence on his show, just a preseason thing he is doing. I was laughing when they got all fired up because ULaLa is ahead of Arizona in some preseason poll, let's see where they both finish in the final poll before we get too excited

Gotcha, I just happened to turn it on during both segments. I guess there isn't much else going on right now in the world of Cajun athletics...

Me neither, I don't think I've actually ever heard it mentioned on BR sports radio.

Lafayette sports talk is pretty bad. They just don't get it that 99% of their listeners don't give a flip about Lady Cajun's volleyball.

I have to disagree with this. Jay has some pretty good insight, IMHO. However, I see where you could get this, considering he is a pretty big ULL homer. I enjoy Jay's show though, especially when he gets worked up.

1420 is ok at times, when they talk about anything else but ULL sports. In the afternoon I try to listen to 870 when I can catch it.

It's not usually women's softball. But anything on Lafayette sports radio is better than the idiots I hear everytime I get into Baton Rouge. They're not only annoying, but all of their "facts" are wrong.

I would agree with that. At times I kinda like Stevie P, but I rarely get to listen to him. He talks too much baseball, and I hate baseball.
