If they would take him 2.1 then it makes sense to trade up to 1.32 to get another cheap year.

Don't underestimate the advantage of having your dad being the coach and building an entire team around you to showcase your talent. Anyone with a modicum of talent can thrive when everything is keyed on you. That's not going to happen in the pro's, though.
My opinion - he'll go in the 1st but end up being a Bridgewater/Winston/Manuel level QB in the NFL.

I wouldn't bet on it. Too many variables in a draft.
I'd say its more likely they traded into the bottom of the 1st earlier 2nd and draft a QB

There will be some melting. A lot of it.
But I think for one people have had a minute to get used to the idea. It won't be quite as bad as some other picks could be regarding melting

No, that's different. That means we actually made a wise decision in the draft. If he's still there at 40, I'd take him.
