Everybody's talking win/lose today, but today won't be the measuring stick. We have to wait and see what the deals actually look like.

This statement should be Negotiations 101, but all I keep reading about is who won or lost TODAY. That's being totally blind to the situation.

We’ll know in 90 days.

I have more faith in Trump than past politicians to do what’s best for America. He’s only been spewing about this for 40 years.

Imo, he's one of the few who's even trying to do what's best for the country. So many others haven't had that as their top priority.

Hence, the mess.

This is the danger of political discourse today: assigning a narrative win or loss to every outcome without discussion around the policy and procedure used to enact said outcome.

Meaningless anecdote I realize but I’m listening to Trumps PC today he seems as lighthearted and jovial as I can remember. Absolutely brimming with optimism.

In the end the tariffs will be 50% of what they are today, not including China. Not sure what the end game is for them.

Bingo

Everything is about results, results, results. Let’s wait to see the specifics of the deals we strike with the top 10 -15 trade partners and what we end up negotiating with China.

Save the melts, hand wringing and football spiking for when we see where we land.

Honestly I was thinking that Trump was taking to much of the world on at once this time.

But that glorious orange man took off the world.

Just when it looked darkest and it looked like the rest of the world was going to unite against us, that orange man got concessions from everyone and fricked over China.

I feel very confident we will be in a far better situation after all the dust settles. Exactly how much will be the only question. And we have put the rest of the world on blast that we aren’t to be fricked with going forward.

This is like the scene in the Untouchables when Capone bashes that dudes head in at the dinners table.

On a few occasions I've contemplated what percentage of men could've stood up under the barrage of attacks this man has faced since 2015. The following isn't even the complete list:

1) The false narrative of Trump/Russia collusion (Schiff was even trying to put Don, Jr. in prison over a bogus situation).
2) TWO impeachment trials.
3) An FBI raid on his home.
4) Bogus indictments in 4 different jurisdictions.
5) They tried to take his name off the ballot in multiple states.
6) The corrupt, bought-and-paid-for corporate media has been against him for a decade.
7) They tried to assassinate him multiple times.

Who else could've stood up to all of that? And yet, like you stated, Trump was cool as a cucumber today. It's like he thrives on the enemy's attacks.

PS - I temporarily forgot about the stolen election in 2020. BUT, thank God they stole it. It turned out to be the biggest mistake the Deep State and Globalists ever made.

Your average lib doesn't care about anything beyond today. They have deliberately put themselves in a position of being totally bereft of foresight and the long game. It hasn't helped that we exist in the technology era where instant gratification is demanded and received. I mean, I have no idea what the population of Mozambique is, but I could find out in 20 seconds.

I've been telling them all to wait and see how things are going in Q4 of this year as opposed to this Thursday, but that's too long to wait when their information comes from a multi-trillion-dollar MSM Narrative Control Apparatus that works in perfect symbiosis with Hollywood, pro and college sports, the education system, the music industry, etc. that keeps them in a rapid-fire news cycle through fear porn and gaslighting and has programmed them to exist in a constant state of chaos and terror. By the time Q4 has rolled around, they'll have already passed through at least another 30-40 "outrageous" news cycles to light themselves on fire and sky scream about.

I'm glad I live whre I live in the rural Bible Belt where people outside of Stillwater, Tulsa, OKC and Lawton actually still take their sweet time to look around, smell the roses and not get worked up at all about things beyond their control.
