Used power tools

Is there a place that purchases used power tools and other related equipment? I know pawn shops do some of this but don’t really want to deal with Rick Harrison type owners. Just want to get a fair price for what I bring in. Thanks in advance.

Do some research to know the price your tools are worth. Then go into the pawn shop and ask for the price. If they low ball you, walk out. (Do realize that the will only be able to sell the tools for what they are worth and they will have to pay you less than that to make a profit.)
Ebay is another option. Or Facebook Marketplace.

He wants to sell tools.
I don't have Facebook, but I've heard of people selling on Facebook marketplace.

Facebook marketplace is definitely your best bet. No shipping and no fees to worry about. Just make them meet at a location close to you.

My old company used to sell our worn power tools to a tool repair shop. The repair shop was a better option than a pawn shop.

Fb marketplace, have someone you know post it maybe. I sold an old set with batteries barely holding a charge and was honest about it. Gone within an hour.

I’ve always been reluctant to buy used tools online - just can’t help but think they’re stolen goods.
I guess on Facebook you can at least do some research on the seller.
