Yes, I think other countries will be wanting to negotiate but Trump also said the tariffs are reciprocal when they are anything but.
I'll be very surprised if the larger economies move to truly free trade.

It "could" work for Europe if a recession lasts through the midterms and Democrats manage to win back the White Working Class base they lost to Trump. then the Dems campaign on reversing Trump's EOs / tariffs and win back the Senate and House

But, for context, just last week these same people were bleeding about "Signalgate" and the week before that they were saying Trump was causing WW3 because of Iran.
I actually feel sorry for these people, completely programmed to live in a perpetual state of meltdown and insecurity.
