Finally Tried Battlefield V

Saw it on sale for just north of $5. Did a little research and found that it still had a healthy player base and said why not.
I’d say it’s best BF post BF3. What I really like most is the immersion I get when I play. From the sounds of the planes, the guns, and a fricking mortar strike on your position is really cool.
I have only really been running around with the M1 Garand and the Arasaka. Firing and getting a kill with the M1 Garand is one of the more satisfying FPS kills I have come across.
Noticed that when I fire full autos or pistol weapon…I can’t be moving or the accuracy is trash. It’s been a looong time since I have played BF and can’t really remember if that is a thing in past games or if this is due to the guns of the time.
Anyways….here is to hoping the next one is a return to form.

Give me Bad Company 3 instead already, please.

Agreed, Battlefield V was a very solid addition to the franchise. Our crew thoroughly enjoyed playing it for months. I can still hear the noise of capture points being taken in the back of my mind. That one map where you start on an actual battlefield in the trenches before fighting for a castle is a classic.

Not to derail but 2042 has come a long way and is pretty solid BF experience at this point .

Battlefield 1 is probably my favorite since bf3

It has, but the gun-play and maps (the two aspects that make a game BF) just aren't there.

It’s definitely good I just wish they didn’t nerf the grenades and explosions from battlefield 1
