Will probably be asked to take a greyshirt. He's still going to visit Ole Miss and TCU. Right now Ole Miss is considered to be the real competition, but honestly after he sees film of the TCU defense, I think they could jump into the mix as well. He's basically exactly the type of LB that Bumpas wants.

I think Tahj is a numbers casualty. Most likely grayshirt, unless we swing and miss on most of the kids left on the board.

I wouldn't question that you know Tahj, but he's been quoted as saying he's been offered a greyshirt as recently as this week.

That's news... but if true, that's great for Tahj. He's gotta add some bulk of course, but I'm sure a redshirt year will help with that.

Isn't he just a smaller, slower version of Mingo?

His sponsor called me from BR while he was on his official visit,so I know he still has the full offer. Also he runs a 4.47 to 4.48 in the 40.

Probably because he won't, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mingo at 6'7 by the time hes done growing. No way in hell will he be a LB with that height. He can put DE weight on within 3 years...but not 300lbs like LSU likes...

I don't see it either. He's a rush OLB.

He could grow into a situational pass rusher from the WDE position in 2-3 years, but I don't see him being able to add the bulk to stay on the line on running downs.
