Ironic that Chavez criticized illegal aliens taking away US jobs, and wanted to close the southern border between the US and Mexico. And the sanctuary State of California has a holiday for him.

I always get Cesar Chavez and Che Guevera confused LOL. Talk about some racist bullshite, I own it....all I know is they are both Hispanic radicals LOL....I use them interchangeably when either comes up in conversation....something that happens surprisingly rarely......

Its not ironic in the least - whats ironic is labor leaders today are either mute on the subject or all in on the "Immigration raises wages" lie. Chavez was a union organizer....the main source of scab labor in the industry he was organizing was illegal immigrants. He was not against documented workers crossing the border with visas allowing them to work because they could easily be organized....illegals, operating under the cloak of darkness, can't be organized because all you gotta do is ship them back across the border if they complain at all.
