San Diego Beach Hotel

Any recommendations for a top tier beach resort/hotel in San Diego? 20th anniversary celebration. Money is not an issue. Zoo, beach, good eats/drinks, and hotel pool will be the main activities.

Hands down, it's the Hotel del Coronado, the Grande Dame...

We stayed in La Valencia there in La Jolla, would absolutely go back in a moment’s notice

The wife and I went to the Del back in Feb for my 40th and it was a great experience. We would highly recommend staying there and you have to eat at the Henry restaurant, which is right down the road.
