Just curious. Do we really believe Guidry is going to pitch this year?

Why would he not? Did he get a serious injury?

No...this poor kid seems to have wasted his career here. I think he was Gatorade player of the year. SS and pitcher. How are you the GPOTY and can't touch the field? He should have gone somewhere he could have played where he wanted and not be a nonfactor type of pitcher. Maybe he knew the next level was never happening and juat likes LSU as we do and that's why he didn't transfer.

I doubt it

Kinda like the Chris Hilton stuff from this past season. Anytime the coaches are vague and slow play this stuff the more likely the injury is pretty serious

I would be more interested if the LSU coaching staff believe he will pitch this year vs. the opinions of a bunch of posters on a message board who have no clue

Bad Backs are very nervy and twitchy. Very easy to compensate for pain change delivery and hurt your arm. It cost me 2 yrs of playing college ball. Back then we didn’t know any better. Now of course they do. No clue of his severity.

I’m starting to think he won’t pitch this year. I think his injury requires far more time to recover from than what we originally were led to believe.

he’s had 3 falls to show the coaches he can be a reliable bat as a reserve. That should tell you all you need to know.
