The full story is he was handing AAU players envelopes full of cash at tournaments, those players were transferring to Newman, and he was facilitating Air BnB arrangments for those players' families where they would falsify utilities records to make it seem like those players were living in houses in uptown New Orleans. All while running actual Newman kids (who had been there for years) off the team, resulting in them transferring schools entirely.

Then, the first year he couldn't do it, he got ran out of the gym in the district title and lost his second round playoff game.

He also threw a fit because, after 5 years of running a Will Wade like operation at a 2A basketball program, no one invited him to any mid season tournaments. Every coach in the state was fed up with his bullshite. Good riddance.
