"I think it's a short list at No. 1 for sure, it's all the guys that I think are worthy of it, the ones that everyone talks about out there, and between Travis (Hunter) and Shedeur (Sanders) and Cam (Ward) and Abdul Carter, I think those are, that's the top of the draft for me, those are the most elite players in the draft," Callahan told Pelissero. "There's going to be a lot of good ones certainly that come after them, but I think those at this moment are the best players in the draft and at the top of it."

Callahan on record liking Shedeur, please sweet baby Jesus, let Cam Ward drop.

I don’t think Ward will be what the media keeps trying to portray either.

Ward is a step below stroud and daniels

I do think he's still a better prospect than drake maye and Bryce young.

Not at all.

Most assuming Ward, and most assuming Sanders isnt truly in the race for no. 1 which he might be.

Sanders going no 1 would also flip this shite upside down, ie, unexpected etc.

Still just seems like Tenn trying to throw as much out there to try and get the biggest haul offered.

They def are and have been, but not by discussing Sanders. Hunter/Carter are coveted players to trade up for and Ward.

So far Sanders has been predicted to drop.

Its interesting that Sanders was included in the group. Most assumed Callahan was blowing smoke with the Joe Burrow comps. The reality is its very possible Callahan likes Sanders, and put him in the group because he likes the player. Sanders is not the shiny prospect teams want.

Now if the Titans love Shedeur and draft him 1, the draft board result will be nuts.

If Ward slides by Browns (who have already bet the farm on a 1st pick -Mayfield and Watson) and the Giants (invested in QB Jones and it blew up badly), then the Saints would try to trade with the Patriots to no 4.

Trading to 4 from 9 only costs a second rounder or so, compared to 1 from 9 (which takes the farm).

Sanders is the mental processor etc, Ward is the rocket arm, gunslinger, make all the wild throws prospect. Both can run a modern or pro dtyle offense.

Callahan is a qb guy and has been on record saying he likes Sanders as a Joe Burrow type. If Titans go Sanders then Saints are probably licking their chops for a trade up.

Ward has a rocket. He is
Def not a overhyped prospect/real deal.

Sanders is polished, but arm strength is being questioned.

Wards arm talent is pretty wild.

Lot of folks/scouts basically saying he’s a just a notch below some of the buggest arms in the NFL but close. With some impressive ability to make extremely quick delivery throws off the RPO and some wild throws on the move and from different arm angles.

Other comp is also because he can use his legs to escape, but won't be a huge threat to run like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

Feel like Tennessee wants sanders, but know they can get away with moving back and grabbing him

Agreed with it, essentially all these you guys listed are legit/ fair comps as far as just talented and worthy 1st round picks.

Areed that Ward doesnt run alot, but its more like he can, and will if open, and he’s strong/big body type.

I saw a scout/article comp Ward with Steve Mcnair, which was interesting. Kind of accurate in that Mcnair was extremely hard to tackle, but he did his fair share of running.

I think Ward will run more in the pros than college, same as Stroud did.

Someone said mcnabb or roethlisberger, which I thought was fair (aside from ward being more accurate).

If they trade back then who trades up in your opinion?

Seems more like if theyre enamored with Sanders they could trade back and still get him, but, that would mean a team in the top ten traded up. Giants/Raiders dont seem like it. Maybe us/Saints.

Seems like if they really want Sanders they take him 1.

They cant trade back with Steelers/Rams for example and still get Sanders.

No qb in this draft is worth draft. Cam Ward will not be that great because he stands in the pocket too long. Shedeur is Caleb Williams 2.0. I say build the offensive line and roll with Rattler. Dart would be a wasted pick because him and rattler are what and what.

Las Vegas could be one if they like Ward. It's the worse of two spot, assuming giants being the other.

If the rumor is true than giants is where they need to be. If giants are passing on a Qb, trading with a team like LV would be smart.

Worst case:
Let's say LV swaps with Tennessee for Ward.

No way Abdul Carter makes it past Cleveland, pair him with Garrett and get a QB next year.

Sanders to NYG

Neither NE or Jax will take a QB.
Hunter to NE
Membou or Graham or Walker to Jax

Tennessee can get a difference maker on the OL or DL while acquiring likely additional 2nds maybe even a 1st.

Best case, move back with Vegas and it goes
LV - ward
Cleveland - Carter
Giants - Hunter
NE - Membou, Graham or Walker
Jax - Membou, Graham or Walker
Tennessee - sanders

Agreed. If its one of the saints/raiders/giants certainly they could trade back and still get Sanders.

Hard to tell if the Raiders/Giants are truly seeking go QB early. The trade/signings of Geno/Wilson makes it seem unlikely but who knows.

Best case for Saints if is Sanders goes no 1 and the trade up for Ward is less hefty.

Naw bro that narrative is long gone.

The idea that this is a low talent qb draft has been debunked.

Mostly last years class was just absolutely loaded.

This is the game I feel like they are playing.

It’s pretty clear they’d move for a haul. Could also seeing them drop down to the browns to allow them to get ward then try to drop again to raiders, giants for sanders and get whatever elite player was left plus the picks.
