Self-propelled mower for small backyard and trimming.

I have a Big Dog 42” ZTR for main yard mowing. But back yard is smallish and I like to use my Honda self-propelled for back yard and some trimming.
But my daughter’s mower crapped out and I’m giving my older Honda to her.
So I’m looking at another new Honda HRN216VKAD ($550) or the Ego Power+ 600 Series 56-volt battery type mower, also for $550.
The Ego intrigues me but you guys know a lot more about these than me. What say you?
Oh, yeah, I’m 75 and this will likely be my last backup/trim mower.

I'd keep the old Honda and give her the new one.

The best purchase you will ever make for the need you stated LINK
Just talked my boss into getting one for his son. Boss would never do battery powered yard tool. His yard is too thick for battery powered stuff.
Well, kid left country - boss stuck with mower. Used it twice and now raves over this machine. Cheap, no fuss, cuts great, light (no need for self propelled), steel deck.
You're welcome!

Thanks. Will check out the Greenworks.
But would like a self-propelled — you underestimate my laziness.

I get it but these machines are very light. No heavy engine. The 60v equals 160cc engine.
If you have to have the self propelled check this out:

We have an EGO brushless dual blade mower that has a self-propel feature, but even at the lowest speed it hauls arse.

What does it mean "brushless" in lawnmower terms?

It will increase cutting speed if it encounters resistance.

I bought my eGo back when Home Depot sold them, so I've had it for a long time, a long with power head, edger, trimmer, and pole saw heads. I also have the chain saw. I do not regret any of the purchase. My garage stays cleaner and smells better; and I haven't replaced a ****** carb since.
Ethanol made me do it.

Same here and they start every time I use them.

I ordered the Greenworks 60v self-propelled with dual 5.0 aH batteries. Walmart sale $475.
Almost bought the 80v Ego from Lowes but is was nearly $300 more. Don’t need that much for mostly just trimming.
We’ll see.
Thanks for tips, fellas.
