Skip said it’s his back. A back injury is damn tough on a pitcher. Every pitch can aggravate it. If you can’t bend, you can’t finish.

Waking up with a back injury is what happens when you are 40.

In college that’s code for sex related injury.

The way this has been built up yall are going to be so disappointed when he does come back.

He has a role but he isnt dominant, at all.

In that they were both injured? Hilton eventually came back. Guidry may or may not. Kelly kept hinting that Hilton was going to be back the next week. Jay has never really said that with Guidry. His quotes get taken out of context.

So will he be jumping off the mound when he returns?

Come to think of it Guidry actually looks like Hilton as well except Caucasian and he’s not dating an LSU basketball star…. And not quite as fast.

He may not be ‘elite’, but a 2.59 ERA is pretty damn good…and when you have a pitching staff that’s young and struggling, having a veteran pitcher that can eat innings and not give up a ton of runs is pretty valuable
