Tried to search for the answer, but why didn’t they show MJ’s face?

The movie was not really about him, as weird as that sounds.

I realize that, but they purposely never showed his face

A few reason's I'd guess

Jordan said "no" for any number of reasons and they just respected it

Or it was an artistic choice, which I think is likely, his look is so ingrained in us as a society that we don't need to see him as somebody else. It's an easy chance for the audience to use their imagination.

If they knew they weren't showing his face why didn't they get a 6'6'' guy to stand in? The actor should've towered over Viola Davis like someone 6'6'' would.

I thought the movie was pretty terrible. Affleck and Damon at their smuggest. Casting seemed off with Bateman who is over exposed but good. The subject matter was pretty boring unless you are really into sneakers. The 80s nostalgia they were looking for seemed fake and forced at times. Didn't watch that much of it though.

Physically seeing Jordan's face would not have added to the plot and would have either cost extra money for actual likeness or distracted from the overall movie with people wondering why they did actually use his real likeness.

Why do feel the need to have included it?

I don’t think his face needed to be added. Just curious if there was a reason. For the record, I think MJ said no go and Matt/Ben said ok.

This is the correct answer. Ben Affleck, the Director, stated that MJ was too iconic to be impersonated, and that no one could portray him properly on the screen.

And like you said, the movie is not about him. It's about the basketball division at Nike that picked Jordan, and became a cultural icon.
