It’s hard to win slander law suits, but hopefully the dude gets hurt financially by having to pay legal expenses (or would CNN pay?).
Anyway, I feel like Elon could drive people into financial ruin if he wanted to just by filing frivolous lawsuits against others so I probably wouldn’t mess with them. He’s got money to burn on legal fees.

As the CEO of publicly traded companies, as well as having investors for privately held companies, he has a fiduciary duty to shareholders by law. Others sabotaging his image and him not defending it could be seen as a failure of his fiduciary duty on his part.
