What kind of shape is it in?

And 5, 6, and 10.
The course is in good shape. The half island green on 9 is still being repaired from the cave in, but it’s playable.

5 I think I have figured.. 3w then 8i has been my play.
6 since they added the water is certainly more tricky but I hit hybrid or 7w close to that cart path.
10 is just narrow.. but I take 7w off the tee there as well

What fricking schmuck down voted all of these??

Possibly someone who doesn’t enjoy target golf. Course is in good shape. Firm and fast when I played today. Played like arse but that blame falls on me haha!

True story... playing it in the morning so hopefully the good game I had going at Copper today hangs out tomorrow..

Definitely firm and fast. Played today also. Probably could use a little rain

Rain isn’t the issue. Smaller fairways means cart traffic only has only so many options. Gras can’t stand up and grow when it’s constantly being run over. Tons of play means the grass can’t grow properly. Would suck, but the solution is to go COP and punch and/or slice fairways.

Comparatively speaking GREYSTONE doesn’t get a ton of play. That being said…. I still wouldn’t mind if we sliced the fairways. This is just good practice on any course ..

It got the 8th most rounds in Louisiana in 2024 according to the LGA.

Compared to BREC courses, sure. It’s always pretty busy when I go.

Where can you find the list of rounds played at each course? That’s very interesting information.
Posted on 3/23/25 at 3:05 pm to FishQuiz
They posted it on their 2024 recap on instagram

No BREC courses on that list so I doubt it’s very accurate. Santa Maria definitely has more rounds on it than Greystone.
