Pentair Pool Equipment Owners

I am having issues with my app and being able to control my equipment. When I log into the app it will not let me link up to my equipment. I can't turn on the pump, the features or the lights. It does not give me temp readings or anything. Anyone deal with this before, or know if someone to call in the Lafayette area to come fix it? Thanks.

Is it set in “service mode” on the outside panel?
Or maybe hard reset your receiver and relink may work. Can google instructions on which buttons to press and hold and relink your phone.

I need a guy to help me out with my system. Can’t log into the app at all. Can you share that person’s info who you had come out?

Is the app ScreenLogic?
The wifi link on their equipment seems to be a bit finnicky and I have to power cycle the inside equipment occasionally to get it to communicate with wifi or with the outside equipment.

Yes it is Screen Logic. I tried resetting everything several times.
This issue started when we replaced our Mac with a new one. Since then, I’ve switched ISP’s so that’s not making it any easier. Calling Pentair does not help.

It blows my mind how shitty smart pool systems are.
ScreenLogic sucks balls.

I have a handheld wireless Hayward pool system.
To upgrade to system with phone app controls they wanted 5k.
F’n crazy. I’ll use the wireless controller a while longer

That’s why you stick with the good old trusty Aqualink RS.
My Alexa compatible control board was like $100 but now there is even raspberry pi software on GitHub for free.

what do yall control with this? I thought about replacing my pool pump controller with a click plc with wifi and use it to kick the pump on at the hour and duration that I set, and you could easily create a program to allow multiple on times to be enabled. you could also expand it and add water temp and stuff, but it would add to the cost. just to control the pump on it would probably be like $300.

Pretty much everything:
Pump
features
lights
schedules
It also tells me the outdoor temp and water temp.

It controls everything: Pool, spa, valves, heater, air blower, lights, timers(external), even my patio mist. It just piggybacks right into the aqualink.
There are plenty of rpi pool control apps online that pair with a cheap driver board and provide a full DIY solution for $100 controller or $200 all-in with relays. I haven’t used one as the aqualink piggyback solutions work great and you can always find an old aqualink for a couple hundred bucks if yours breaks.
