To those who are still pissed at your HS BB coach for making you ride the pine, now is your chance at redemption.

You kind of buried the lead.
Here's the employment tweet:
You should have just linked the tweet, and not the story, for your joke.

"Cameron Brink 'icked out' by online reaction to Sparks' call for male practice players...

"My confession is I'm really icked out by the potential new practice players," Brink said on her "Straight to Cam" podcast that she co-hosts with Sydel Curry-Lee. "Usually, we use [USC] college guys that also do it for the women's team at USC.
"All the comments are, like, 'Let Cameron Brink back me down' or something about Rickea or something about Kelsey. ... Who are we trusting coming into this gym?" ...

I am actually kinda on her side here. In college, the coaches can control the type of guys they get as practice players since they are students. A pro team trying this has no clue who is coming in off the street.

Typical stupid, bland-arse bleach blonde heifer who thinks her vagina is the center of the universe.

Since you are generally one of the more clueless posters here, I don't expect you to understand.
In college, the practice players are students. They are subject to rules and regulations set forth by the school. If they act creepy or sexually harass the girls, they are subject to discipline and maybe getting kicked out of school.
This pro team is trying to bring in randoms off the street to be practice players. Who knows what kind of background they have? Maybe they get their jollies by jostling around with female players. They can theoretically act any way they want to, and what is the worst that can happen? They get fired from being a practice player and that is about it.
I understand Brink's concerns here.

You believe this and yet call me clueless

She's basing her concerns on random dudes cracking jokes on the internet. Those aren't the types of guys who will actually show up to this tryout.
quote:Guarantee that random street ballers aren't going to get selected. They're going to be looking for guys who played varsity or college ball because of fundamentals, experience in structured practices, and running organized offense / defense play calls. And then running background checks and checking references with former coaches for the guys that get picked from that tryout.
