Traditional SEC powers Auburn, A&M, and Ole Miss, with a combined 1 Final Four, already in but LSU can't find the resources to attempt to compete.

I have been told on good authority that we will decline an NIT bid if one comes our way. Many reasons why, not the least of which is the fact that we may not be able to field a team.
We had 7 for the SEC Tournament, and not all 7 of those figure to still be here anymore anyway.
