I find it strange there isn’t one interview / story out yet about what Carr thinks of the new coaching staff etc. etc. I think there’s still some smoke on Carr being moved before the season starts. If I did miss any Carr comments about this my apologies.

Wouldn’t really make sense now that they’d locked into his contract for this year. But an interesting report is that Carr was very much interested in seeking his market in free agency but apparently Moore and Loomis are the ones that refused and want him here.

Carrs separation from the team and pretty much all things Saints this offseason says a lot thought about the relationship IMO.

I think the media understands that Carr's tenure here is waning while Moore's is just beginning. Kinda pointless to ask a question of an average QB who wont be here much longer

There is no way anyone trades for Carr with the money he is due.

I don't think its that they particularly want him here but the fact that no one will trade for him with that contract. If they Saints released him and made him a free agent then the Saints eat all that money and get absolutely nothing. At least by keeping him, like him or not he is the best QB on the roster. So if you have to eat the money might well keep him and hope for the best.

I think youre right but its more like Carr is on a one year rental and we’re going to target a replacement qb asap.

If shedeur is there do we draft him?

The reality is that mason Graham, Tet Mcmillan, Jeanty may be gone. Cambell and the Missouri Tackle may also be picked.

That leaves tight end, lb, safety or de.

Shemar stewart (freak but lack of production)
Georgia def end - just ran a slow arse forty 4.7/4.8 too early to take at 9th
Starks - ran a 4.5 at combine do we want a safety at 9th.
Warren - do we want a te? At this point maybe?

Some of the prospects that could fall to us arent looking as good.

And some of the ones we want are - meaning they might not be there at 9th.

Ex if Tet Mcmillan runs anything sub 4.5 he will be picked probably before 9.

Both tackles (campbell etc) ran 4.9’s - top ten solidified likely.

It’s good PR to let Moore be the the focus and face of the Saints.

Carr’s likability quotient with Saints fans has waned. Developing a positive vibe for the team is good marketing.

Less is Moore when it comes to Carr.

Carr wanted out. Didn't want to be here anymore, but we didn't let him leave.

Not sure what CKM and Carr's relationship is currently, but they better get on the same page if he is in fact going to be our starter.

Carr disappearing to California during the super bowl and Mardi Gras while the rest of the team stayed to court the Saints name is very telling.

Seems pretty clear to me.

Which is why I think the Saints/KM may target a QB they want.

Folks on here dont like Shedeur, but he is talented.

Also they hate Milroe. I’d take him in KM’s offense. Milroe was posting 22/23 mph on runs in college. Thats unreal. Tyreke Hill speed.

I wouldn’t rule out CB either. Will Johnson would be in play there I believe.

Maybe but they could have let him or his agent talk to other teams to gauge interest and/or find out what other teams were willing to pay/trade for him.

But they didn’t and apparently he was open to doing that at the very least.

His personality was never a fit here. He’s a big time Christian and I don’t think ever took to the Nola vibe. I cannot for the life of me understand why management never took this info consideration

Agreed. If he runs a fast forty his stock would fit here.

Carr was hated by nola fairly quickly.

He’s been under fire. Some of it def unreasonable. Moved his family here etc.

Brees came at a time we were desperate. He was loved.

Carr couldnt be Drew - he was hated.

wtf are you talking about? Plenty of prospects look incredible at 9. Nobody wants jeanty at 9 on this team. Tet is not a prospect I’d draft in the top 10. Guys like Walker, Warren, Williams should all be in play here and everyone of them has insane upside. They very well could take a tackle here but, tackle isn’t a need on this team.

Just say youre clueless! Did you forget Bijan and Gibbs? Bijan went top ten, Gibbs top 15.

Nobody wants Jeanty/McMillan hilarious. If they run fast forty’s naw.

Walker hasnt run yet LBs arent drafted high often - and as I mentioned Williams just ran a slow arse 40 at GA’s pro day. His stock is going to drop.

Warren - if he blazes a good forty/workout maybe. He would have to be Brock Bowers good. With JJ resigned its more questionable as a need.

Yes the last thing this team needs is a rb picked in the top 10 with the amount of holes it has at key positions. If you think Jeanty should even be considered then you need to collect a disability check.

Williams ran a slow 40? They said they clocked him at 4.74 unofficial at 265 pounds. That isn’t slow. I also don’t need my de’s running very fast 40 yard dashes. For instance, tj watt ran a 4.7. Where do you all come up with this bs.?

In no universe will Milroe be a competent NFL qb. He is the last thing the Saints need.

No one had Pennix at 8 and Nix at 12 last yeear.

Tells me that scouts are hiding how much they like guys. Dart/Milroe threw darts at the combine.

Teams are hiding how much they like these guys like they did last year.
