I just learned Thomas Massie spent significant time campaigning for Ron DeSantis. No wonder this dude is acting like a cucked DeSimp

Massie is an American patriot. He was correct when he told Trump the stimulus checks were a mistake, got primaried and beat that arse

And he is correct again, and I would not bet against him on his next primary challenge

We would be blessed if we had a GOP filled with Massie's. Dont take your anger out on him because he stands true to principal when the party is filled with RINO rats

Edit: It was a mistake for him to back DeSantis, but what do you expect? Trump posted to throw his arse out of the party (literal phrase)? Massie embodies the MAGA spirit, Trump is fantastic but he is not always perfect. The Massie/Amash/Paul trio are the fiscal, christian, leaders who dont bow to any political pressure.

He splits with most when it comes to Israel. I personally think we need that voice of reason when it comes to Israel. Alot of R Senators feel obligated to Israel for one reason or another and the detractor is a need.

I didnt realize he spent that much time campaigning either, but I also dont mind DeSantis, he would be a great leader (just was not his turn)

Massie has a great voting record, and he is right on the issues. He looks at the long term instead of what is politically expedient. Trump cant afford to not be politically expedient as POTUS, but Massie is doing exactly what he campaigns on and was voted in to do

Massie is my favorite congressman. I don’t view him as correct all the time but the most correct based on my views.

Even though I’m a Trump voter and regret my vote for him less than any other, Massie is correct to hold the line here. I voted for DeSantis over Trump in March l and have 0 regrets.

It’s possible to support somebody and not give a full throated endorsement to everything they do.

He supports less spending and small government, policies the Republican party supposedly stands for. Unlike most Republicans though, he actually votes that way.

I am finding all sorts of goodies tonight. Here is DeSantis teaming up with Adam Kinzinger and Tom Cotton in 2013 on the Deepstate Ukraine talking point that SFP always brings up about the reason for the 2014 Maidan Coup. It's so easy to connect the dots

I also was on the DeSantis train at first, but I do regret that. Trump has exceeded my expectations in every way since he clinched the primary. His 2nd term vs his 1st, which was good, is also a massive gap. Were not even a full 2 months in and you can already feel change in the air

Massie has been my favorite politician for a decade. Never strays from his principals. I wish we hadnt run Amash out of town. Also ended up biting the GOP... We ran his successor out of town too and now its a blue seat. Amash isn't as good as Massie, made some mistakes, but I will take every congressman who stands by fiscal restraint and personal liberty above all else every day

In a role reversal from my last post… I like Amash but his impeachment vote was a bridge too far. I’ve liked a lot of his takes, but stupid on his part. Absolute clown reasons for siding with the Dems on this one.

Not sure where you are trying to go with that, POTUS brought this up when Little Z disrespected the oval a couple weeks ago. His exact words were "Obama gave you sheets, I gave you javelins"

DeSantis was the first to try and arm Ukraine when the border war started, as a means to deter a full war. Obama shot that down. Trump started supplying Ukraine with weapons to deter a full war. No war under his watch. Biden told Russia "if you invade, I will do economic sanctions but not intervene" - that is the removal of strategic ambiguity and green light to invade

Peace through strength requires strength

I agree on that - that was the biggest political betrayal Ive felt (and I still cant come to calling him a RINO, before that he was best of the GOP). I respect Amash a lot to this day even though I still dont get why he went down that road. I know this will probably fuel the anti-massie hate, but Massie did endorse Amash this past election cycle when he ran for the GOP senate primary. I think Amash would have won Michigan.

It looks like Massie just likes to go against Trump and try and derail his agenda

Be careful of posters like John Barron…they’re here to sow the seeds of division amongst conservatives.

Uh...No. DeSantis is talking about the protest in Ukraine in 2013 when the Deepstate was organizing the Maidan Coup. Signing that document with Tom Cotton and Adam Kinzinger tells you all you need to now about DeSantis.
