really interesting to watch egrets adjust to time change

across the canal there are a couple large oak trees that the white egrets roost in at night. the last month they have arrived at sunset 5:30 and about 20-30 of them fly in very promptly at 5:30 pm. This week they made the summer time time switch really well and are arriving promptly at 6:30. Birds are smart.

Damn... bet they leave the roost about an hour later than last week too.

It's the same damn time for the birds baw. They don't have a clock.

Mother Nature is amazing to watch. Sometimes subtle, and other times a bit rough to handle.

It sure seems too late to be outside at sunrise and it’s after 7am. Sunrise seems more normal when it’s 6-6:30am.
